RTIRIGHT TO INFORMATION ACTStatutory Declaration under the RTI Act 2005The Right to Information Act, 2005 was enacted by the Parliament and it came into force from 15 June, 2005. This act mandates timely response to citizens’ requests for government information. The basic object of the Right to Information Act is to empower the citizens, promote transparency and accountability in the working of the public authorities. Keeping in line with the RTI objectives, Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College has also constituted a Right to Information (RTI) Cell to enable the students, citizens and the stakeholders to have necessary access the RTI related information/disclosures. The RTI Cell of Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College makes speedy and timely disposal of the queries and grievances lodged by individual or stakeholders time to time.
